Directorate
- Executive Committee - The executive committee is responsible for the administrative and financial management of the Association. Any decisions must be approved by the full board.
- Advisory Committees - These committees advise members regarding clinical matters, the running of their practices, ethical matters, etc.
- Ombudsmen - Appointed by the Directorate to facilitate and manage matters related to ethics and standards as well as to assist members.
- Regional Representatives - To ensure the desired flow of communication (upwards, downwards and sideways), regional representatives are responsible for the co-ordination of activities in each province.
- In particular, the regional representative assists with problem resolution, lobbying, ethical issues, CPD activities, information dissemination, meetings etc.
- Although regional representatives were initially appointed by the Directorate, the regional representative will be a democratically elected post in the future.
