Rose Gives The Gift Of Sight @ Garden Expo (Coca Cola Dome 27-29 March 2009)


The Vision In Sight rosebushes will be on sale at The Ludwigs outdoor stand from 27-29 March 2009. R2 of every rosebush sold will go to VIST to provide eye care to indigent communities.

After months of cultivating and pruning, The Vision in Sight Trust and its floral partner, Ludwig Taschner of the renowned Ludwigs Garden and Rose Centers, launched The Vision In Sight Trust rose on the 23 March 2006 at Gardenex. Over three years later, a percentage of sales of the rose continue to help indigent South Africans receive good eye care. The correction of refractive errors through eye tests and prescription spectacles can change the quality of lives.

The Vision In Sight Trust is the fundraising leg of The South African Optometric Association. It strives to deliver eye care to those most in need. The Vision In Sight rose is one of numerous campaigns and initiatives run by the Trust.
